Seminar Venue
The Seminar is hosted by the University of Trieste (Università degli Studi di Trieste, Centro Linguistico d’Ateneo) in via Filzi 14, Trieste, Italy.
Lectures and presentations take place in the School of Interpreters (SSLMIT), 14 via Filzi, Aula Magna. See Google map.
To reach the Seminar venue by bus please remember that bus tickets cannot be bought on board but are sold by newsagents and tobacconists. Tickets must be stamped as soon as you board the bus. The cost of a single ticket is € 1.05. Each ticket is valid for 60 minutes (to be used on any bus and tram).
Registration Desk
The registration desk will be the entrance of the School of Interpreters (14, via Filzi) from 8.30 am on Friday 4th December. Participants will receive a seminar pack which includes: badge, Seminar programme,
list of participants, certificate of attendance, payment receipts and material for visitors to Trieste.
Handouts and PowerPoint files
Speakers should make sure they bring an adequate number of handouts (we recommend about 50). PowerPoint presentations should be emailed to Daniela Negru: daniela.negru@gmail.com) by mid-November for uploading to the venue’s computers. Files should have the presenter’s surname and be Windows XP compatible. To be on the safe side, bring a copy on CD-ROM or memory stick with you to the presentation.

Equipment
The seminar room is equipped with OHP and video projector for PowerPoint presentations – there is no need to bring your own laptop, but your presentation should be fully Windows compatible. Please make sure you bring about 50 copies of any handouts you may have.
